Park Paving is a locally owned and operated company and has been in business for almost 50 years as one the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We are looking for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR who will focus on field repairs, and overseeing and scheduling of field mechanics on construction equipment in the field.

Once eligibility requirements are met

Are you a licensed Heavy-Duty mechanic with experience in a supervisory role? Do you have experience working on fleet vehicles, as well as with heavy equipment (For example, skid steers, excavators, and paving equipment) If so, we have an opportunity for you

What You Will Be Doing:

Supervision and mentorship of mechanics/welders in the field
Scheduling and overseeing repairs and preventative maintenance
Scheduling and overseeing work on various construction equipment in the field
Involvement in the planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance and repair of all portable and stationary plant sites (Asphalt / Concrete) as well as gravel sites
Assist mechanics with troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
Work with other personnel within the maintenance department to ensure all service and repairs are completed in an efficient and timely manner
Work with personnel across other departments to ensure organizational needs are met and equipment is available when required

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Heavy Duty Technician license
Minimum 5 years experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role
Previous production facility experience such as asphalt plant, concrete plant, gravel yard, and crusher
Must be able to pass a pre-employment fit to work medical assessment
Valid Class 5 Drivers License & Clean 5-year commercial abstract
