‘From Red Fort to Kashmir’s forests’: PoK leader admits Pakistan-backed terror groups behind attacks across India

Despite Pakistani leadership’s repeated denial about Islamabad’s involvement in terror activities in India on several global platforms, a PoK leader has admitted that state-sponsored terror groups are behind attacks across the country, “from the Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir”.

Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, who was the former prime minister from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, remarked that India is still counting the bodies of victims.

“I had said earlier that if you continue to drench Balochistan in blood, we will attack India from the Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir. By the grace of God, we have done it, and they still haven’t been able to count all the bodies,” he is heard saying in the viral video.

“A few days later, armed men entered Delhi and attacked, and perhaps they still haven’t counted all the bodies yet,” he added.

He was referring to the recent blast near Red Fort metro station that killed 13 people and the April 22 terror attack on 26 tourists in Pahalgam.

After Pahalgam terror attack, India retaliated against Pakistani terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba as part of Operation Sindoor strikes in May, destroying the headquarters and launchpads of the outfits.

The NIA is still probing the November 10 blast in Delhi. Initial investigation has revealed that a terror module operating from Faridabad’s Al Falah University was planning an attack across six cities on Decembers 6 with the help of Jaish handlers from Pakistan. December 6 is the anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition.

However, the arrest of key suspects foiled the larger plot while a member of the module, identified as Dr Umar un Nabi, fearing his arrest, decided to carry out a suicide attack in Delhi. The Hyundai i20 driven by Umar was seen entering Delhi from Faridabad and he assembled the explosives at a parking lot near the Red Fort. Following this, he slowly approached a signal near the metro station and detonated the explosives using a trigger fitted inside his shoe.

This comes days after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi acknowledged that Pakistan government benefits from “fake” terror attacks in the province, impeding peace efforts in the restive region bordering Afghanistan, reported Tolo News.
