Patent licensing key to China’s automakers going global: Avanci

Posted on 21 June 2025 By jobuzo

As Chinese automakers increasingly make their mark on the global stage with intelligent vehicles, Avanci, a leading global independent patent licensing platform for smart connected vehicles, is highlighting a crucial link in their expansion journey.

“We can really support automakers here in China as they go global,” said Laurie Fitzgerald, president of Avanci Vehicle, speaking to CGTN during the sixth Qingdao Multinationals Summit in east China’s Shandong Province.

“Patent licensing and international expansion – I think they really go hand in hand.”
