What’s on Donald Trump’s hand? Mystery ‘Band-Aids’ on the President’s hand trigger speculations

Speculations about his health continue to plague US President Donald Trump after he  was photographed with a mysterious Band-Aid plastered on the back of his right hand during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday. This was the second time the Band-Aid was seen on the President’s hands.

A photograph caught a glimpse of the mystery injury on Trump’s palms after he  accidentally touched his face during a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday. The hour-long  meeting was held to announce plans to reverse vehicle fuel-efficiency standards implemented by the Biden administration. The President kept his hands under his Oval Office desk the entire time, but 30 minutes into the meeting, he raised his hand, exposing the Band-Aids.

The report added that he had two Band-Aids on his right hand. The White House has yet to respond to the reports, but issued a pre-prepared response to The Daily Beast. “President Trump is a man of the people, and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said. “His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day.”

The bruising on Trump’s palms had been a topic of discussion, with the White House attributing it to “minor soft tissue irritation” caused by the frequent handshaking and use of aspirin, which he takes as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen.

Two days ago, Trump underwent what the White House called a “preventive” MRI imaging on his heart and abdomen in October. Barbabella concluded that the cardiovascular and abdominal imaging was “perfectly normal.” “The purpose of this imaging is preventative: to identify issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure he maintains long-term vitality and function,” the doctor wrote.
