Travis Kelce Jokes Taylor Swift Is “Gonna Kill Me” Over This Fumble

Posted on 4 February 2026 By jobuzo

Travis Kelce admittedly did something bad.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end accidentally broke a chair while recording an episode of his New Heights podcast at home, quipping that he hoped fiancée Taylor Swift wouldn’t find out about his latest fumble.

In a preview for the upcoming Feb. 4 episode, Travis leaned back his chair as he laughed at one of brother and co-host Jason Kelce‘s jokes. As the seat tipped backwards, it made a loud crack before the 36-year-old lost his balance.

“Oh s–t!” Jason exclaimed. “Are you alright?”

And after recovering from his stumble, Travis told the Philadelphia Eagles alum, “We’re good.”

He jokingly added, “Taylor’s gonna kill me.”

But this wasn’t the first time Travis knew he was in trouble with the “Karma” singer. In January, the NFL star quipped that “Taylor’s going to kill me” after not getting a reference to her 2025 song “Wood,” which is said to be about Travis’ manhood.
