China comes together for Venezuela

After devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, Venezuelan writer Nanda Nieves raised more than $13,000 in just 48 hours from supporters across China. 

The funds are being sent directly to volunteers and frontline relief organizations helping survivors. 

The latest official figures show at least 1,943 people have been killed and more than 10,571 injured following the twin earthquakes, as recovery efforts continue.
