August 18, 2025 marks another pivotal moment in the push to end the multi-year Russia-Ukraine conflict. U.S. President Donald Trump will host his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House. Several European leaders including from the UK, France and Germany will join him along with NATO’s Secretary General and the European Commission President. The meeting comes just days after a summit between Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
