An Iranian missile strike “completely burnt down” laboratories at a research university in Israel, according to employees.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited the Weizmann Institute of Science, in Rehovot, today after it was hit on Sunday, according to Israeli media.
Among its work, the institution collaborated with Israeli military and defence companies.
“My colleagues conducted years-long research and had equipment worth millions of dollars — and now it’s all gone,” Mor Moria Shipony, a graphic designer at the centre, told CNN
She said the labs had been “completely burnt down”.
