Gavin Casalegno<\/strong> wants to bring his dramatic acting chops to Cousins Beach. <\/p>\n

The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/em> star joked that he made one request for his character Jeremiah’s storyline in the upcoming movie, which does not yet have an official release date. <\/p>\n

“I did request a death scene,” Gavin told Us Weekly<\/em> in an interview published March 2. “I don’t know if we’re gonna get it.”<\/p>\n

And while writer Jenny Han<\/strong>—who also wrote the book trilogy of the same name—may not let Gavin flex that particular acting skill in this project, he insisted he was still in support of any story that “makes the fans and Jenny happy.”<\/p>\n

That being said, the 26-year-old noted he still has “no information” about the film, which will mainly follow Belly Conklin (Lola Tung<\/strong>) and her relationship with Jeremiah’s older brother Conrad (Christopher Briney<\/strong>). <\/p>\n

“I’m like Tom Holland<\/strong>,” Gavin quipped, referring to the Spider-Man<\/em> star accidentally spoiling plotlines for Marvel movies in the past. “If I know anything, I’ll give it away.”<\/p>\n

He added, “They won’t tell me anything.” <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
