Chinese artificial intelligence-powered drug researcher XtalPi Holdings said it expects to turn its first annual profit on the back of strong revenue growth, according to a corporate filing.<\/p>\n

The Shenzhen-based company projected a swing to a net profit of at least 100 million yuan (US$14.5 million) in 2025 from a net loss of around 1.5 billion yuan in 2024, notching its first full-year profit, according to a filing with the Hong Kong stock exchange on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

XtalPi attributed the earnings boost to “a substantial increase” in revenue, which came to at least 780 million yuan for the year ended December, the filing said.<\/p>\n

This represented a nearly 193 per cent jump from a year earlier, according to the company, which cited narrowing losses in its core intelligent robotics and drug discovery operations.<\/p>\n

XtalPi’s profit was also helped by a sharp rise in gains on financial assets, expected to exceed 500 million yuan, the filing said.<\/p>\n
