Anna Faris<\/strong> is embracing the scary parts of parenthood.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> Scary Movie<\/span><\/em> star reflected on the “funny shift” she has experienced being mom to her and ex-husband<\/span> Chris Pratt<\/strong>’s son<\/span> Jack<\/strong> now that he’s officially a teenager.<\/span><\/p>\n

“You go from manhandling them every day for like a decade, one way or the other,” Anna told E! News’<\/span> Will Marfuggi<\/strong> in an exclusive interview, “to suddenly like, ‘Ugh Mom…’”<\/span><\/p>\n

And what has surprised the<\/span> House Bunny<\/span><\/em> actress is that Jack, 13, isn’t the only one who cringes at the dynamic sometimes.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s so humiliating looking for his approval,” the 49-year-old quipped. “I’m always like, ‘Hey, did you hear what I just said? That was pretty funny.’”<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Anna noted her teen has been “playing it cool” around his friends, too.<\/span><\/p>\n

“He’s been turning down the music a lot as we approach the school or [an event],” she explained. “He used to not do that.” <\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the typical teen angst, Anna—also stepmom to husband<\/span> Michael Barrett<\/strong>’s two kids—admires what a “great kid” Jack has continued to evolve into. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
