HANOI, April 7 (Xinhua) — Vietnam’s National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday afternoon adopted a resolution on the election of Le Minh Hung as prime minister of Vietnam for the 2026-2031 tenure.<\/p>\n

The resolution won the support of 495 out of 495 legislators present at the first session of the 16th NA.<\/p>\n

In his statement, Hung said that his cabinet’s priorities include building a modern, enabling and service-oriented government, achieving annual economic growth of at least 10 percent during 2026-2031, driven by innovation and digital transformation, investing in human development and social welfare, and ensuring the effective operation of the new two-tier local administration model. ■<\/span><\/p>\n
