“The two of them were like, ‘Well, what do we do now?'” he said of Kingston and Zuma’s first taste of Tishomingo, Okla. “I go, ‘Go out that door and don’t come back till you’re too tired to go any further.’ Well, they can’t even imagine just going down to the creek with a net or turning over rocks or getting on a buggy and driving around.”<\/p>\n

Yet while Shelton and his wife are planning some “actual, real professional gardening” on the farm this year, as he shared in a March video, he has already professed a little nostalgia for the days when all the kids were, well, kids.<\/em><\/p>\n

“If I could have a repeat of these past 10 years, [that] would be perfect,” he told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> in April 2024, a month before Kingston’s 18th birthday. “Next month, we’ve got an 18-year-old, which it blows my mind that already happened. And in a couple of years, we’ll have another 18-year-old. And that’s…it’s gonna be a lot more alone time, which I’m not mad about that either.”<\/p>\n

“But,” he added, “we still have Apollo, so we have another almost 10 years before we can kick him out, so it should be a lot of fun.”<\/p>\n
