&amp; &lsquo;tradwife&rsquo;, believed to have &lsquo;staying power in language&rsquo;<\/h2>\n<p>Cambridge Dictionary made worldwide headlines with the addition of new words such as &ldquo;skibidi&rdquo; and &ldquo;delulu&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>In the last 12 months, the dictionary has added 6,212 new English words, phrases, and meanings.<\/p>\n<p>Those popularised by Internet slang from Gen Z and Gen Alpha have caught the most attention.<\/p>\n<h3>Nonsensical word &lsquo;skibidi&rsquo; added to Cambridge Dictionary<\/h3>\n<p>Skibidi is a word coined by Alexey Gerasimov, creator of the &lsquo;Skibidi Toilet&rsquo; comedy series on YouTube.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_645183\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><noscript><\/noscript>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-645183\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Alexey Gerasimov<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The series became extremely popular with young audiences and a part of numerous nonsensical Internet memes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"internal-linking-related-contents\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jobuzo.com\/en\/12-weeks-jail-for-school-it-support-technician-who-took-upskirt-videos-of-teachers\/\" class=\"template-1\"><span class=\"cta\">News :<\/span><span class=\"postTitle\">&lt;div&gt;12 weeks' jail for school IT support technician who took upskirt videos of teachers&lt;\/div&gt;<\/span><\/a><\/div><p>As such, the addition of the word skibidi to a major dictionary raised eyebrows, especially considering that the word has no actual meaning.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Cambridge Dictionary defines the slang as &ldquo;a word that can have different meanings, such as &lsquo;cool&rsquo;
