{"id":6152,"date":"2025-08-31T01:11:01","date_gmt":"2025-08-31T01:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobuzo.com\/en\/duo-24-and-26-arrested-for-alleged-chopper-attack-on-man-near-sims-ave\/"},"modified":"2025-08-31T01:11:01","modified_gmt":"2025-08-31T01:11:01","slug":"duo-24-and-26-arrested-for-alleged-chopper-attack-on-man-near-sims-ave","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jobuzo.com\/en\/duo-24-and-26-arrested-for-alleged-chopper-attack-on-man-near-sims-ave\/","title":{"rendered":"Duo, 24 and 26, arrested for alleged chopper attack on man near Sims Ave"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div readability=\"27\">\n<p class=\"font-secondary text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">Two men have been arrested after they allegedly attacked a 51-year-old man with a chopper near Sims Avenue on Aug 29.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">The police, in a statement, said they received a call for assistance near Sims Avenue at 6.40am.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">Early investigations found that the two men, aged 24 and 26, got into a dispute with the older man, and allegedly attacked him with a chopper.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">The 51-year-old man sustained injuries and was taken conscious to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">The two men were arrested about five hours after the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-secondary text-18 font-normal leading-1.5 text-grayscale-800\">They are expected to be charged on Aug 30, and if found guilty, can be jailed for life or given a jail term of up to 15 years.
