Tributes have been paid to Charlie Kirk from across the US political spectrum.<\/p>\n

Former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden both shared messages after he was shot.<\/p>\n

Biden said: “There is no place in our country for this kind of violence.<\/p>\n

“It must end now. Jill and I are praying for Charlie Kirk’s family and loved ones.”<\/p>\n

Obama said: “This kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy.<\/p>\n

“Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.”<\/p>\n

Sir Keir Starmer, the prime minister, also paid tribute from the UK.<\/p>\n
