Three people were taken to hospital after an accident involving three cars and a lorry in Yishun Avenue 2 on the evening of Oct 16.<\/p>\n

Police said they were alerted to the accident at about 6.45pm.<\/p>\n

The three people taken to hospital are a 78-year-old male car driver, his 69-year-old female passenger and a 46-year-old female car driver, police said.<\/p>\n

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. They were conscious, the police added.<\/p>\n

Lianhe Zaobao reported that one of the vehicles involved – a yellow car – was driving against traffic.<\/p>\n

In a photo of the accident, the yellow car’s bumper appears to be heavily damaged. It also appears to have been involved in a collision with the other two cars.<\/p>\n

A 29-year-old woman driver is helping with investigations.<\/p>\n
