About Our Client We have teamed up with a well-known steel manufacturing company based in Indonesia.Job DescriptionMonitor and manage the movement of steel inventory, from raw materials to finished products.Keep accurate inventory records using advanced inventory management software.Work closely with the procurement department to plan steel purchases and negotiate supplier agreements.Assess supplier performance, lead times, and quality to ensure consistency and reliability.Develop strategies to optimize steel inventory levels, minimizing costs and avoiding shortages.Implement inventory control policies to enhance operational efficiency.Supervise quality control processes for steel materials and products to meet high standards.Take corrective actions for any quality deviations.Lead and guide the inventory control team, promoting excellence and continuous improvement.Provide necessary training and guidance to team members.Generate regular reports on steel inventory performance for senior management.Analyze data to identify trends and improve processes.Collaborate with different departments to align inventory activities and address challenges effectively.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.Maintain a secure and organized inventory storage environment.The Successful ApplicantHold a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, warehouse management, or related fields.Bring 5 - 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain.Familiarity with software tools like WMS is a plus.Ability to lead, delegate tasks, and create a teamwork environment.Experience in steel, automotive, or chemical industries is advantageous.Familiar with safety regulations, labor laws, and warehouse operations standards.Strong problem-solving skills for operational challenges.What's on OfferExcellent career growth opportunities within the company.Engage in a thriving and dynamic industry.
