Purpose of the role:

The primary responsibility of the Business Support Analyst is to support the operational business needs for FundRock within the Administration Support team; specifically facilitating and reporting on Fund Data, Fund Pricing, dealing with Investment Manager queries and General Administration Support Tasks and providing operational support to all other areas within FundRock.
Key Responsibilities

  • To run and accurately process reports and provide these to the relevant Investment Managers and departments within FundRock Partners
  • To review the pricing data and liaise with the Investment Management Oversight to assist with dilution levies and dilution swing pricing
  • To review the prices of the funds on a daily basis, and assist the Investment Management Oversight department with the Stale Pricing
  • To contribute information/data for the internal KPI packs
  • To produce Monthly/Quarterly Review Packs for the relevant sponsors
  • To review and assist the SS&C AMCR team with the AMCR Invoices
  • To review third party administrators and provide necessary feedback
  • To review and log all complaints and departmental breaches. Additionally, to refer both breaches and complaint to the relevant Investment Managers where applicable
  • To review all documents sent out to the clients for the FundRock Partners Funds
  • To support the investigation and delivery of information required for external third party administrators to complete agreed processes
  • To review all dealing referrals and provide sign off if applicable
  • To provide data vendors with new/updated information regarding the FundRock Fund range whilst maintaining a good working relationship
  • To maintain a good working relationship with the Investment Managers, the CRM and third party administrators
  • To undertake the processing of administration and operational tasks
  • To undertake the processing of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly administration tasks, handling sensitive information and undertaking regulatory checks
  • To support new business and change management projects
  • To support the delivery of platform data to the relevant platforms
  • To assist FundRock departments with all operational tasks


Key Attributes and Qualifications

  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills (ideally GCSE/GCE Maths and English at Grade C or above);
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Previous experience within a financial background or within an administration team
  • Good industry knowledge coupled with a willingness to learn and expand
  • Ability to respond to all queries in a concise and professional manner
  • Ability to problem solve and create more efficient working practises
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrate abilities to work as both part of a team and individually in order to juggle multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to organise daily workloads to the maximum potential
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Be willing to work in other areas depending on the need of the business
  • Proven timekeeping skills
  • Be flexible and have a can do attitude
