MerchandiserUp to £45,000 DOEManchesterA well know apparel retailer is seeking a Merchandiser to play a key role in leading their team to deliver sales, markdown, stock intake and profit plans.Your daily responsibilities include:Working with Buying, ensuring the range plan deliver sales and margin whilst in line with stock targets Control stock levels based on weekly sales and stock intakes (WSSI)Planning of budgets by category, option count, and depth of buy Recommend promotions and re buys as necessary In conjunction with your assistants, review core line cards on a weekly basis Produce and execute a clear line level exit strategy for range to reduce terminal stock levels Review weekly trading performance and achieved KPI’s Manage the range plan in Season reflecting any changes Train and support a high performing team, managing their workload and help them achieve their career goals Skills & Experience required:Excellent knowledge of creating OTB plans and WSSI management At Merchandiser or experienced Junior Merchandiser level with ownership for running your own department Management of large budgets and skus Team management and development experience.Highly numerate and comfortable working with large data sets Commercially focused Comfortable presenting at Senior Management meetings and can communicate across all levels of the business.If you think you have the right experience as a Merchandiser and want to be given the opportunity to develop your career, then get in touch and apply today.
