As Lin-Manuel Miranda said, “Love is love is love is love is love.”

And as Pride Month began June 1, celebrities celebrated all types of love by sharing heartfelt messages of support for the LGBTQ+ community and showing up at events across the country.

For her part, Rosie O’Donnell acknowledged the LGBTQ+ trailblazers that gave her the confidence to come out as a lesbian in the early aughts.

“Everyone who came out before I did, before I was brave enough, I admire them and they gave me the strength and courage to be myself,” she told People at the 2026 Tony Awards June 7. “I hope I can do that for young people everywhere and teach everyone that there’s nothing to be afraid of and we exist in every animal kingdom.”

Rosie emphasized, “Gay is OK no matter what they say.”

Trisha Paytas also celebrated her own queer identity with a photo shoot while posing in a rainbow-filled outfit.

“It’s that time of year!!!!!!! HAPPY PRIDE,” she wrote on Instagram. “We’re here and we’re queer.”

Allies of the LGBTQ+ community also offered their words of support. Indeed, Jennifer Lopez kicked off the month by wishing her fans a happy Pride month and sharing a unique way to celebrate.
