AI agent maker Manus hits US$100 million revenue milestone in 9 months

Posted on 18 December 2025 By jobuzo

Manus, the high-profile artificial intelligence agent launched by Chinese founders, has crossed US$100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) nine months after launch, the company said on Wednesday.

The achievement makes it the “fastest growing start-up”, the former China-based team, now headquartered in Singapore, claimed in a blog post, with total revenue run rate now exceeding US$125 million.

“We’ve been growing at more than 20 per cent month-over-month since the release of Manus 1.5, and we’re continuing to accelerate our product and feature releases,” it said.

Launched in March, Manus received global attention for its claims to be the industry’s first “general-purpose” AI agent capable of reliably carrying out tasks autonomously on behalf of users, such as booking flight tickets and generating research briefs.

Its Manus 1.5 version, launched in October, touted improvements in speed and reliability across research and web development tasks.

For businesses, ARR forecasts revenue flows over a year. According to Rui Ma, founder of San Francisco-based consultancy Tech Buzz China, there is no standardised method to calculate ARR, making it prone to abuse by tech start-ups looking to hype up their products.
