While many will be sealing the turn of the year with a kiss from their loved ones, there’s a list of high-profile celebrities who saw their relationships come to an end in 2025.

Some are now focusing on their career, while others are back on the dating scene.

Here are the celebrity couples that called it quits this year…

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban

Actress Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban after 19 years of marriage in September, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Sources told TMZ it was Urban who wanted to end things, having since said “relationship sacrifices” are necessary for his career.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom

The popstar and actor confirmed their split back in June – they had been together since their previous break-up in 2017.

Their representatives say their focus is now on co-parenting their daughter, Daisy Dove.

Katy Perry has since told fans she’s in a new relationship as pictures emerged of her holding hands with Justin Trudeau, the former Canadian prime minister.

Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty

After 12 years of marriage, television presenter Cat Deeley and comedian Patrick Kielty announced their separation.

In a statement, the pair said they will “continue to be united as loving parents” to their two sons.

Lily Allen and David Harbour

Singer Lily Allen and actor David Harbour met on dating app Raya back in 2019 and tied the knot a year later.

But their separation was confirmed in February, with Harbour admitting he felt there were “slip-ups and mistakes”.

Allen has since released her first album in seven years, and told British Vogue that the topics she writes about are “things that I experienced within my marriage”.

Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin

The actress split from the Coldplay frontman in June, bringing their almost eight-year relationship to an end.

They were first spotted on a date in 2017 and had been pictured together in May – just one month before their separation.

Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino

American film star Sydney Sweeney broke-up with her fiancée of three years Jonathan Davino earlier this year.

“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends,” she told The Times.

Sweeney has since been pictured with record executive Scooter Braun after the pair met at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Venetian wedding in the summer.

Emma Corrin and Rami Malek

Back in April, The Crown actress Emma Corrin and film star Rami Malek ended their two-year relationship.

They were first seen together at a Bruce Springsteen concert in London in July 2023, with Malek previously describing Corrin as “fascinating”.

Sia and Dan Bernad

Sia split from her husband Dan Bernad in March after three years of marriage.

According to court documents, Bernad is seeking more than $250,000 per month in spousal support from the Chandelier singer.

Bernad also entered an emergency court filing asking for full custody of the pair’s one-year-old son, Somersault Wonder, but the request was shut down by a judge.
