China says hostilities in Middle East cannot solve problems

China is urging the US and Iran to restore negotiations. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Wednesday that China is monitoring the latest developments in the Middle East. The remarks came after the US announced on Tuesday that it had conducted a new round of strikes against Iran, hitting over 80 targets.
