Coachella Performer Lambrini Girls Drops Out Due to Singer’s Acute Brain Injury

Lambrini Girls will not be rocking out at Coachella 2026.

The punk band has dropped out of the lineup after its lead singer Phoebe Lunny fractured her neck and was diagnosed with an acute brain injury.

“We are so gutted guys,” Phoebe—who fronts the band alongside Selin Macieira-Bosgelmez—shared in an April 8 Instagram post. “We want to be there so badly.”

“If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it,” she continued, referencing a 2015 concert in which the Foo Fighters frontman performed from a chair after fracturing his fibula. “This isn’t something we are taking lightly and we are really sad.”

Phoebe added, “Because it is my neck and brain, our hands are tied for now.”

As for how they sustained the injury? Phoebe explained that she fractured her neck while in Australia and the injury was misdiagnosed, prompting her to seek “late treatment.”
