As 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the EU, China Daily visited multinational companies operating across both regions to trace their shared journey.

In this episode, we explore one of China’s largest private conglomerates — Fosun’s investment in Portugal. What began as a crisis-era acquisition has evolved into a long-term partnership.
