Jair Bolsonaro faces trial on coup allegations in Brazil’s Supreme

The trial of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro began Tuesday, Sep. 2 at the Supreme Court in Brasília. He stands accused of attempting a coup following his defeat in the 2022 election. The proceedings have sharply divided opinions within Brazil. Paulo Cabral reports from São Paulo.
