A recent poll released by TVBS News in China’s Taiwan region showed that only 28 percent of respondents are satisfied with regional leader Lai Ching-te’s governance, while 55 percent are dissatisfied, marking a record low in approval ratings.

Among different age groups, those aged 30 to 39 experienced the sharpest decline in satisfaction, dropping from 36 percent to 20 percent.

The poll released on Monday showed that 41 percent of respondents think Lai is guiding Taiwan’s policies incorrectly, and only 36 percent trust Lai.
