Mexico steps up efforts to restore ecosystems

In an era of climate change and increasing attention to environmental damage, more programs aimed at ‘restoration’, rather than ‘conservation’ are being prioritized. That’s the case in Mexico, where a recent summit brought together government officials, environmentalists and society groups – to strengthen collective efforts to heal damaged ecosystems. CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock has more from Mexico City.
