Critics Choice Awards 2026: Michael B. Jordan Reveals When He Knew ‘Sinners’ Was Special

Keeping up with an Oscars 2026 watch list is one battle after another.

Films like Sinners, One Battle After Another, Hamnet and more are going head-to-head for Best Picture during the March 15 Academy Awards ceremony. To be fully prepared for the biggest night in film, it’s important to catch every film before the awards show.

This year, the Best Picture competition is as stiff as ever. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners made history by earning the most Oscar nominations of all time, with 16 nods. Available to stream on HBO Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home and Youtube, the thriller stars Best Actor nominee Michael B. Jordan and Best Supporting Actor Nominee Delroy Lindo.

Delroy, for his part, was ecstatic when he discovered the film had received recognition in nearly every category, including Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.

“It’s just incredibly joyful and affirming,” Delroy, who played Delta Slim in the film, exclusively told E! News in an interview published Jan. 22. “Affirming that audiences inside and outside of the industry have responded to this work so fully, and the fact that the work has touched people, I believe, in the depth of their humanity.”
