Good morning and welcome back to our live coverage of the war in Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin is speaking now at an economic forum in the far eastern city of Vladivostok.

Before we dial in, here’s an update of some of the key developments yesterday.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his Western allies met in Paris for another meeting of the so-called coalition of the willing.

Donald Trump phoned in to be briefed on talks, with discussions focusing on post-war security guarantees for Ukraine.

This was the eighth meeting of the group, not including smaller ministerial equivalents, to have taken place since 2 March, raising questions about how much it was actually achieving.

The French leader said the US would also finalise its support for security guarantees in the coming days.

Elsewhere, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev warned Moscow may start seizing British assets in revenge for a recent support package for Ukraine.
