Samsung First Look at CES 2026: Live updates from the year’s first press conference

Posted on 5 January 2026 By jobuzo

We’re kicking off 2026 with the first press conference of the year, and what better company than Samsung, prolific event-haver, to open with. Here at CES 2026, the tech giant is holding a presentation called “The First Look,” presumably to showcase its home products and announcements. The event will start at 10PM ET (7PM PT) later today, and you can watch Samsung’s livestream from home if you’re up.

In case you prefer a more lowkey, text-and-image-based approach, you can also follow along our liveblog here. Our team of senior reporters will be at Samsung’s event to bring you all the news and commentary as it happens. We’ll be starting things off at 7PM ET (4PM PT) or, if you’re in Korea, 9AM on Monday morning. Yes, that’s three whole hours before Samsung starts things off, but we’ll have plenty from CES 2026 as well as pictures, vibes and other tidbits to share.

If you can’t wait till then, you can check out our preview of what to expect at CES 2026, where we not only tell you what we think will be happening in Vegas this week, but also what’s already been announced. Make sure to follow our social accounts (@engadget everywhere) to get even more pictures and videos from CES in the meantime.
