The Most Glaringly Obvious Celebrity Nosejobs

Posted on 9 April 2026 By jobuzo

Here’s an interesting question: what kind of plastic surgery do you think is most common among celebrities? Believe it or not, the answer isn’t “boob job,” even though more than a few celebrities suddenly pop up looking much bustier than ever before. The answer isn’t a Brazilian butt lift, either, although you can probably name a few celebs who suddenly start rocking a much larger derriere.

No, the most common bit of celebrity plastic surgery is the nose job. This procedure is easier than most, but it can dramatically change the appearance of someone’s face. Sometimes, that’s a good thing, transforming virtual nobodies into famous movie stars. Other times, a bad nose job can ruin a famous face, killing careers practically overnight. Which celebs have gotten the most obvious nose jobs, and what did they look like before going under the knife? Keep reading to find out!

Cardi B

Unlike many celebrities, Cardi B has been very upfront about getting a nose job. In fact, she revealed that she had always wanted to get one even before she became famous, thanks to banger songs like “WAP” and “Bodak Yellow.” Ironically, that fame put her in something of a bind because she was hesitant to change her appearance after becoming a celebrity. Because of this, she tried a kind of compromise where she simply got fillers, thinking they offered a more natural way for her to trim down her nose.

Unfortunately, Cardi B decided that the fillers didn’t work and actually made her nose look bigger than before. After deciding she hated both her old look and her new look, the singer decided to take the plunge and actually get the nose job she had been craving for so many years. Afterward, she had no regrets whatsoever, and she spoke glowingly about her procedure in an interview with Jason Lee. “I look great,” she raved about her new and improved appearance.

Jennifer Grey

As we said before, nose jobs are the most common elective surgeries among celebrities because they are low risk (these procedures rarely go wrong, and they don’t take long to recover from) and high reward (they can change someone from having an above-average face to having the face of a movie star). Still, many celebs hesitate to get a nose job because of one person: Jennifer Grey, the star of films such as Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

She simply wanted to tweak her appearance, but her first nose job required surgical correction. Afterwards, she looked completely different, and even her closest friends and family could barely recognize her. Subsequently, her acting career dried up because she no longer looked like the movie star everyone had fallen in love with. This is why Jennifer Grey has become a cautionary tale among celebrities: no matter how much they want to get a nose job, these celebs worry that they, too, might become unrecognizable and lose their careers.
