Trump posts expletive-laden warning to Iran – as he says rescued pilot ‘seriously wounded’

Donald Trump has revealed he sent guns to Iran after thousands of protesters were killed during protests in Iran in January.

He said that “45,000” demonstrators were killed during the wide-scale, anti-government protests across the Islamic Republic a month before the start of the current conflict.”

Trump told Fox News his administration sent guns to support the protesters, but he believes that the Kurds “kept them” rather than giving them to the demonstrators.

Trump told Fox News: “We sent them a lot of guns. We sent them through the Kurds.”

He added: “We sent guns to the protesters – a lot of them.”

The death toll from the protests remains disputed, ranging from over 5,000 at the conservative end to 33,000 by one count, and even as high as 50,000, according to one unverified claim.
