Three Indian origin men were arrested in Brampton, Canada, after a tow truck shoot-out between two rival groups occurred in October this year.
The three men are currently in custody, according to Peel regional Police.
A fourth who is also involved in firing a gun, is still being traced.
The shoot-out happened on October 7 at around 10:45 pm local time in a parking lot in Macvean Drive and the Castlemore area between two separate groups. What started as an altercation escalated into gunfire, police told Brampton Guardian.
One person suffered minor injuries.
A video posted by Peel police showed how the altercation began among the large group of people. It also shows a man firing a gun.
Investigators later identified three of the suspects from the group involved in the shooting.
Police arrested the three after a search warrant was carried out in Caledon on November 20.
The arrested driver was named Manjot Bhatti, Navjot Bhatti, and Amanjot Bhatti. All three are believed to be tow truck operators. Manjot, a 26-year-old, was charged with six gun crimes, including reckless discharge and possession of a loaded prohibited gun.
The two others, aged 27 and 22, both face charges of occupying a vehicle while knowing there was a firearm.
Investigators are still searching for the suspects from he other groups, especially the man who fired the gun in the video. The man is also of south asian origin.
Police said that he wore a black jacket, blue jeans, and white running shoes.
