Watch: Was Donald Trump arguing with his wife, Melania, on board Marine One?

An awkward conversation between US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump was caught on camera, where the President was seen pointing fingers animatedly at his wife. The couple was seated across from each other on board Marine One and was returning from the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Melania was seen shaking her head and gesturing at the President, while Trump reacted to this by pointing his fingers at Melania, followed by what appeared to be an intense conversation. The chopper then lands, and the couple exits the helicopter, walking across the South Lawn hand-in-hand. Trump is seen waving to reporters in passing.

The now-viral clip was captured by Sky News cameras just moments before the chopper touched down on the White House South Lawn on September 23.

The clip is reminiscent of the recent episode between French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigette. In the infamous clip, Brigette was seen shoving Macron in his face. The video triggered discussions about domestic violence.

When Trump was asked about the video, he quipped: “’Make sure the door remains closed.’ He then went on to add that Macron was fine. “He’s fine. They’re fine. They’re two really good people. I know him very well, and I don’t know what that was all about,” Trump said, choosing his words carefully. “’But I know him very well, and they’re fine.”
