Chinese President Xi Jinping advocated a people-centered approach during his speech at the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus” Meeting on Monday in the port city of Tianjin, China.
“We should advocate a people-centered approach. We should reform and improve the global governance system to ensure that the people of every nation are the actors in and beneficiaries of global governance, so as to better safeguard the common interests of all countries,” Xi noted at the meeting.
