On the second day of the 3rd China International Supply-Chain Expo, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told CGTN that the vast scale of China’s internet services has produced “incredibly sophisticated” algorithms – an “under-appreciated” strength he places among the world’s best. He also noted that “Alibaba has been an AI company from the beginning.”
Huang’s comments came moments after a fireside chat with Wang Jian, director of Zhejiang Lab and founder of Alibaba Cloud, where the two reminisced about their 2012 collaboration and emphasized the importance of open source to AI progress.
