Selena Gomez Addresses Rare Beauty’s Future Amid Sale Speculation

Posted on 29 July 2025 By jobuzo

Selena Gomez isn’t looking too far ahead.

When it comes to her famed beauty brand, the Rare Beauty founder is concentrating on the here and now—despite online speculation that the company may soon be up for sale.

“I think it’s important for me not to focus on the logistics, if that makes sense,” Selena told Women’s Wear Daily in an interview published July 29, “for me and my personal well-being.”

Having just released her first Rare Beauty fragrance, nearly 15 years after she released two scents through a licensed partnership with Adrenalin Inc. during her Disney Channel days, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer—who is currently engaged to Benny Blanco—sees the brand as much more than just a business venture.

“I put my heart into it,” she continued. “I work really hard, and I love our community, especially my fans. They have gotten me through all of the ups and all of the downs of life, and they are with me.”
